DESCRIPTION: A premium quality PVC all weather electrical tape.
M 85+ is an 8.5 mil, tough, flexible, Weather and Temperature Resistant, and of course Flame Retardant. Resistant to UV rays, most acids, alkalis, abrasions, moisture and corrosion. Matte finish black PVC film is one-side coated with an aggressive, non-corrosive rubber based pressure sensitive adhesive, suitably plasticized and stabilized. and offers a moisture-tight seal even in extremely hot and cold temperatures. UL and CSA listed. M85+ is similar to Merco M307 and M333 except it is 8.5 mil thick.
APPLICATIONS: Primary electrical insulation for all wire & cable splices rated up to 600 volts, protective jacketing for high voltage cable splices & repairs, harnessing of wires & cables. All Extreme Temperature characteristics provides for application in the field to -10°C.
