POLY FOAM TAPE
DESCRIPTION: A high density cross linked polyethylene foam tape, coated on one side with a high performance rubber based adhesive which exhibits excellent consistent quick stick sealing with high shear properties.
M8509 exhibits good resistance to humidity, mild acids, oil and greases. The foam has superior conformability and compressibility, allowing it to adhere will to smooth, textured or irregular surfaces. It can be die cut.
M8509 applies well to temperatures of 40°F or 4°C and is suitable to 180°F or 82°C.
APPLICATIONS: Idea in condensation control on plumbing pipes. Used as a lap tape on pipe insulation. Ideal for sound vibration dampening.
