Frequently used in place of 3M's VHB, or Very High Bond tapes Merco's MEB Series of Extreme Bonding tapes are engineered to create a high performance and permanent bond between many types of substrates, including most metals, glass, plastics, wood and materials. Each offers excellent weathering and aging properties and is resistant to most solvents and chemicals. They are commonly used across a broad variety of industries, including sign mounting, trophy and awards manufacturing, glass and window installations, automobile manufacturing and after market repairing, graphics, furniture manufacturing and appliances. Use MEB as a direct replacement to most mechanical fasteners, liquid adhesives and spot welding.
MEB W and G feature a high performance, high shear acrylic adhesive bonded to a closed cell acrylic foam, self wound on a red poly liner. Conformable foam construction is ideal for it's anti-vibration properties and allows for expansion and contraction directly at bond points.
MEB C and T are a solid acrylic tape system designed to provide a superior bond. CLEAR features a water clear acrylic layer and is ideal for applications involving glass and clear plastics. TRANSLUCENT offers an opaque look and is more suitable where bond integrity is more important to appearance.
